Benjamin J. Truax

Ben Truax has been with Dunlap & Seeger since the fall of 2022. He practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation and business. Ben’s experience includes matters involving business disputes, shareholder and partner disputes, insurance defense, personal injury, real estate disputes, and landlord-tenant disputes. Ben also advises nonprofits and assists clients with trademark filings.

Ben received his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he completed concentrations in Civil Litigation and Intellectual Property & Technology Law. While in law school, Ben participated in the intellectual property moot court and was part of the mock trial competition team. Prior to law school he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry from Carleton College.

Outside of the office, Ben enjoys being a Minnesota sports fan, reading Science Fiction and Fantasy, and spending time with his wife and dog.
