Alison joined Dunlap Seeger in 2018 and focuses her practice on real estate. Working closely with Dunlap Seeger attorneys in the real estate practice, Alison helps deliver a range of legal services during a transaction—from drafting purchase agreements to negotiating post-closing matters. Alison’s real estate background also includes title examinations, issuing title insurance and title opinions.
She is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law, Juris Doctor, and a graduate of Saint Louis University, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology. While in law school, Alison excelled academically—earning election into the Order of the Coif and receiving the Raymond Rice Foundation Scholarship, the 2016-2017 Robert E. Edmunds Prize in Corporation and Securities Law, and the CALI Award for Lawyering I and II, Evidence, Business Associations I and II, Workers’ Compensation, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mergers and Acquisitions. She is an alumna of the 2019-2020 Leadership Greater Rochester Class and has served as a volunteer or board member for a variety of organizations, including the History Center of Olmsted County, University of Kansas School of Law Lawyering Program, University of Kansas School of Law Outlaws and Allies and Kansas Legal Services.
In her spare time, Alison enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dog, cooking for friends, and supporting local restaurants and breweries.
